Privacy Policy
FairScan is an open-source Android application for scanning documents directly on your device.
It was designed to be simple, respectful, and transparent — with no data collection, no tracking, and no hidden behavior.
Data Collection
- FairScan does not collect, store, or share any personal data.
 - All document processing happens locally on your device.
 - The app does not connect to any external server, nor does it include any analytics or advertising services.
 - FairScan doesn't embed any tracker: you can verify this independently via Exodus Privacy.

Permissions Used
FairScan requests only the permissions strictly necessary for its operation:
- Camera: used to capture document images. Images never leave your device.
 - Storage (write): used to export PDF files to the Download directory of your device. Only for Android 9 and below.

FairScan declares no custom or sensitive permissions beyond these standard Android features.
